Not just alchemy! But sugar has all sorts of amazing alchemical properties. It's especially useful if you're making medicine for younger children – you can use sugar to take some of the edge off the bitterness if it's a mild curative.

But it's not just useful as a sweetener! Did you know it's an incredibly useful bonding component? Not a lot of people know this, but when you combine it with duchess grass, something about the caramelization process makes the duchess threads so much softer to the touch but also incredibly flexible and resilient! Not only that but
