[Sometimes in the towns bringing in goods, sometimes just in a cave in the middle of the forest, Sophie will occasionally run into Marie. The townspeople say she was an ordinary girl who lost her head and dropped out of military school to become a hermit. That aside, she does provide a more reliable source of alchemy ingredients than just going out and finding things yourself.

[ Sophie certainly looks like she's having a good time, given her sparkling eyes and the big ol' loaf of bread she's carrying under her arm. Marie's stall certainly wasn't the first stop she made today, even if it was the actual important one. ]

I'm running a little low on pine sap, and... do you have any duchess grass? I'm down to my last few handfuls of that, too.
