Bryn is a travelling warrior all jacked up on the power of a dragon and out on a revenge roadtrip against the prince who destroyed her home. Despite how edgy that description makes her sound, she's actually a cheerful, high-energy sheltered weirdo with maybe one braincell to speak of who is having SO MUCH FUN out here on her wild adventure. BRYN IS:

• Around twentyish years old, s m o l and petite like a strong breeze would blow her over. Has super long lilac hair and a rose growing in place of her right eye.
  
• Dressed in a very pretty froufy combo of a dress and armour, all in shades of white and lilac. She wields a spear.
  
• Charged up with the magic of a dragon, despite not actually being a dragon herself. She may ping as some combo of "dragon", "half-dragon" or "undead" to characters sensitive to magic.
  
• Much much MUCH more physically strong and resilient than her appearance lets on
  
• Book smart, educated and well-spoken but shockingly street dumb
  
• Curious and inquisitive, quick to learn, but also a total airhead
  
• Friendly, kind, well-meaning (mostly)
  
• Occasionally kind of smug and condescending to humans, as a result of being raised by a dragon
  
• Kind of an enormous rage-fueled mess on the inside but she's (not) coping. It's fine

[ Bryn's in the gardens – as seems to be common for her, apparently. There's nothing much complex about it, at least as far as Bryn herself thinks. She's used to the outdoors and the gardens are pretty, so of course she's happiest here. If she wanted to probe a little deeper than that, she'd uncover some slightly more uncomfortable feelings – the certainty that she's an ill-fitting addition to the house, a troublesome fixture that's in dire need of removal, as quickly as possible. So she tries not to think about it very hard. The gardens are pretty. She likes it out here. That's all it needs to be.

That doesn't stop her from starting a bit, like she's been caught doing something wrong, when she hears Naja approach. As uneasy as the truce between siblings is proving to be, Naja's been nothing but kind in spite of it all. It leaves her feeling caught between admiration and intimidation in roughly equal measure and so she's a touch meeker now than she might be inclined to be with any of the others. ]

Oh – you wouldn't mind having me at supper with you? [ She says it like she's a guest passing through and not a family member here to stay. ] I wouldn't want to put extra work on the kitchen staff if it's not needed...

We eat dinner as a family, whenever we're lucky enough to have the chance, [she begins, easily, as though it is explanation enough on its own, except that Brynhilde is—hm. Charming, strong-willed, loved and cherished by Naja's most beloved, and dumb as a brick. And so, Naja continues, all in the same breezy sentence,] so we'd all be quite happy if you took the place we've set for you.

If she does not fit in among the high ceilings and stained glass, the sparkle and shine of the palace and the hissing bustle of its nobility—well, it isn't like this is the first time Naja has built a family around something lonely and displaced.]
