[ Bryn's in the gardens – as seems to be common for her, apparently. There's nothing much complex about it, at least as far as Bryn herself thinks. She's used to the outdoors and the gardens are pretty, so of course she's happiest here. If she wanted to probe a little deeper than that, she'd uncover some slightly more uncomfortable feelings – the certainty that she's an ill-fitting addition to the house, a troublesome fixture that's in dire need of removal, as quickly as possible. So she tries not to think about it very hard. The gardens are pretty. She likes it out here. That's all it needs to be.
That doesn't stop her from starting a bit, like she's been caught doing something wrong, when she hears Naja approach. As uneasy as the truce between siblings is proving to be, Naja's been nothing but kind in spite of it all. It leaves her feeling caught between admiration and intimidation in roughly equal measure and so she's a touch meeker now than she might be inclined to be with any of the others. ]
