OC VOICETEST FOR ASTER AZULINE ANBELL
yes, the three alliterative names were entirely necessary
- Twenty years old, blonde and blue eyed, petite and pretty.
- A princess and thus very much A Royal Young Lady
- A "chosen one" character known as the Scion
- Educated and cultured, well spoken, a bit sheltered
- Grouchy, prickly and more than a little spoiled on the outside
- Full of warm snuggly tsundere love on the inside and often unable to stop herself extending small kindnesses even if she's very "I–I DIDN'T DO IT FOR YOU BAKA" about it.
- Carrying around four incredibly powerful magical artifacts inside herself at all times
- Possessed of much practical experience when it comes to pretty much anything
- Very physically strong or fit
- Particularly good at impulse control
- Genuinely cruel, actively malicious or mean-spirited
- Familiar with modern day culture or technology
- ASTER IS:
ASTER IS NOT:

[Zinnia's ears are twitching as she returns to their campsite, dragging a deer behind her. The dragging arm is, of course, large, the arm long enough to drag on the ground, furred, with her hand being more like a paw, curved claws piercing the deer's throat in place of an actual grip.]
Will this be enough until we get to town?

idiotsinteresting folks for a little while now. In that time, they've been learning what they can about the group. Observing. By now, they like to think they have a decent grasp on everyone's general demeanor. The little things that give away how they're doing. They might not know what makes them tick, but they just about know when to expect an alarm to go off.
Aster has seemed a little... down. The stress of travel getting to her, perhaps? Or just the weight of this whole Scion business. Really, it could be anything, because everyone gets sad sometimes. Except Mage, obviously, because they don't feel anything, of course. But whatever the reason is, it's no good. Best to nip this in the bud now, if they can. Luckily, Mage has a foolproof plan for how to deal with this.]
Princess.
[Their tone is serious, as is befitting the situation. They look her in the eye, steady, and the silence hangs in the air for a few seconds. It is important, at times like these, to pause for dramatic effect.
And then, spoken as if the very fate of the world hangs in the balance...]
I'm bored.

It’s nice. Aster is nice.
It’s during one of her nightly patrols that she hears it, a soft noise from the kitchen. Michiru is small and quiet, it’s easy to make her way in unnoticed. The young girl is on high alert, but the tension immediately leaves her body as she sees it’s just Aster, working in the kitchen at...something. Cookies? Bread? ...was it even edible?]
You’re going to have to start over, you know.
[Blunt as always. The redhead blinks, remembering her station.]
Good evening, Princess Anbell. [headtilt] Do you need me to find one of the kitchen staff?
how bout some murdergame shenanigans
[Ned had been trying to work out a way to escape the bubble world, the trailer she'd been assigned as a bedroom full of sheets of scribbled notes and glyphs and magical formulas, trying to find some kind of casting that could punch a hole back to reality. But so far, the suppression of everyone's powers, her own lack of expertise in the relevant branches of magic, and complete lack of her usual resources had left her entirely stymied.]
[So today she's in the carnival's arcade tent, feeding tokens into the prize machine that had been spitting out items from home, hoping to get some of her mother's research or something that might be helpful.]
[The tightly-packed bag of high quality coffee beans wasn't the most useful of reminders of home, but it was highly welcome, for a second. Until she saw the small subtitle underneath flourishing 'dark roast' script.]
>Decaffeinated
...I'm being mocked. This is mockery, and the Ringmaster has to die now.

Pretty fancy digs, huh?
