[ Sylvain goes chasing after her, looking harried, his shirt partly unbuttoned and his tie hanging loose, his hair a bit mussed and his briefcase clapping against his back by the strap. [ The Daycare staff assist Sylvain to his feet, offering consoling words as they take a turn trying to encourage the wayward child to stop playing. Elise, for her part, is crawling through the tunnels to try to find the friends she had made earlier in the day, who she thinks are sitting in the play submarine. ]
[ Sylvain turns to see the next parent coming in for pickup, a very pretty lady with long dark hair and dazzling eyes, and smiles, suddenly embarrassed at his display of ineffectual parenting. ]
