That'd be a wonderful idea! But I was also thinking – maybe some meat jerky? I've made it before to take with me on long journeys and when you preserve and dry it in the right way then it lasts more or less forever! I have some left from the last batch I made, and it really is delicious. So maybe we could send some of that, too?

Well... it's been a hard year for everybody. But at the same time... isn't it wonderful that we've been able to make so many precious friends this year? And we've been on such an incredible adventure together...!

I just want everybody to know how thankful I am that we're together. That's all.

That's right... on top of the people I usually help over winter, now there's all the people who've requested help from the Church or the nobles. Usually, that'd be something for the Royal Alchemist to help with, but...

[ Obviously that's not an option right now. ]

So that's why you want me to do more for everyone. Because you're already burning yourself out. You know you're part of "everyone" too, right? If you need anything, you can let any of us know.

[ For a moment, Sophie just blinks at her, looking flummoxed. Then she laughs. ]

Oh no, it's not like that at all! Maybe it's a little selfish to say it, but I'm actually really enjoying all my work right now. It's wonderful to be able to help so many people... it just means I'm a little busier than I expected.

[She shakes her head.] Vintage Sophie. Just rest once in a while, okay? I'm sure no one'll blame you.

Don't worry, I'm making sure to take good care of myself. Wouldn't I be setting a bad example if I didn't?

I'm already feeling tired just imagining it. I really don't know how he gets anything done at all!

At this rate, I don't think he knows how to sleep. He just builds up resistance to anything.

He has to sleep sometimes, though! He wouldn't be around if he didn't! ... I just have no idea when he actually does it...
