CMO/VOICE TEST/WHATEVER FOR STELLA ROSELAID
But then one fateful day, her luck completely turns around. A chance encounter ends with Stella being granted a Vertex Stone, a colourful crystal that marks her as one of the seven Prism Maidens! It might seem like all of her dreams are coming true, but Stella soon discovers that magic or not, being an idol isn't all it's cracked up to be and if she really wants to chase her dreams, she's going to have to work hard to prove she's got it in her to reach them.
Cliffnotes & permissions for meme/cmo/whatever purposes below:
- A sixteen year old cis girl, 5'3'' with an athletic sort of build – she's got the toned look of a dancer, or at least a dancer in training. She's got a pretty face with big, round eyes that give her a permanently excited or surprised look and she is incredibly, overwhelmingly pink. Her hair is pretty long, falling to just past the small of her back and it's – you guessed it – pink as well. She invariably dresses in some combination of reds, pinks and whites and her style is pretty energetic, straddling the line between girly and sporty – her favourite outfit is a pink letterman jacket thrown on over a short-sleeved t-shirt and a pleated skirt.
- ALWAYS wearing her Vertex Stone – for Stella, it manifests as a star-shaped dangly earring that she wears in her right ear. It always seems to be glowing from inside with its own light, and the cut of the crystal makes it shift prismatically through different colours on its own.
- From a modern day setting, so familiar with all the usual modern day setting trappings and trimmings. Her story is very much set in a "sugar bowl" sort of world – think a cheery Saturday morning magical girl anime and you've got the gist.
- A magical girl! ... Sort of! Stella is what's known in her home world as a Pure Perfect Colour, which means that she's able to create and control magic with the power of her singing voice. Her singing creates brand new ambient magic and she's pretty used to using it to control said magic, as she's been doing it all her life. If she's in a pinch, humming and whistling can also work, but they're a lot less effective.
- An idol! Because of her voice, Stella is a famous idol in a group known as the Prism Maidens. Because of this, she's been trained in dancing and singing and all that other idol stuff. She's pretty good at it, too! Her stage name is "Prism Pink", because of course it is.
- Cheerful and pretty much always in high spirits. She's constantly full of beans and enthusiasm about anything that seems like it might be fun or interesting but by that same token, she can often be scatterbrained and easily distracted. She has ADHD, which can further kneecap her focus at times, and generally she comes off as a bit all over the place. She's doing her best, though!
- Skilled at/knowledgable about things the average person her age can reasonably be expected to be
- Genuinely cruel, actively malicious or mean-spirited to the average person
- Particularly strong, skilled or overly noteworthy for a girl her age outside of the things mentioned above
- Genuinely book dumb or ignorant – she suffers from poor focus and retention of things that don't interest her, though

Jeez, I swear, cleaning the thing up hurts even more than when I scraped it in the first place...

[ Kanna switches to a gentler pressure now that she got her sadistic kick out it, feeling bad after Stella's whine. But it was all done for some friendly fun, something Kanna realizes as she cleans more of the wound's surrounding area. It spoke just how easy it was for her to see Stella as more than just another idol if she was willing to do that already.
She puts on a band-aid once the wound is cleaned. Picking a kid's version with cartoon characters printed on the outside. ]
There you go. Still thinking you could run? And you should do a runner's knot like this too. That should make your shoes more secure.
[ Kanna points at her shoes' laces, tied in a specific way that she unties, only to tie it again to demonstrate the knot to Stella with practiced ease. ]
See?
thank god for gay idols
Yeah, I think I'm good! But just in case, lemme get those...
[ She stoops down and does a reasonably good job at imitating Kanna's demonstration. It's nowhere near as neat and practiced as the other girl's of course, but it'll do. Then she's springing back up onto her feet with a big grin. ]
Alright! Prism Pink ready and raring to go!

I bet your parents fed you Energizer batteries, sheesh...
[ She straightens herself up, stretching her arms after being idle for a few minutes just to get her body back and ready to run again. She nods her head to the road after getting their drinks in hand, continuing their run with Kanna slowing herself down to make sure Stella doesn't have another accident. This time she matches Stella's pace instead, staying quiet and exuding that same focus she does every time she practices. The secret to her success.
She kept going down to the coastal road, letting the soothing sea breeze and the sound of the waves calm her mind. It was a pleasant distraction on the stairs that followed. A staircase by the cliffs with a torii gate, indicating a shrine above them once they reach the top. Kanna just kept going, barely tired even at the top of the cliff where she could only smile. ]
Look, you could see our hotel from here!
[ It's a common joke, but she points to the view of the town from above, and the inn's roof is definitely in sight. It's so far away from where they are, and Kanna wanted to show Stella just how far they reached and how far they have to go back. In a way that she feels would be encouraging to the other idol ]

To her actual credit, neither the ugly scuff on her knee or the embarrassment at having almost completely wiped out so early in the day seem to have put a dampener on her energy. You'd think that with Kanna falling silent, Stella would be talking even more to fill that gap but surprisingly, she's just as content to stay quiet as well. It's a weirdly companionable sort of quiet, the kind that comes with sharing a moment of deep focus, and Stella doesn't want to say anything to break it.
It's only once the two of them crest the top of the stairs and Stella realizes the sheer scale of the view that's spread out in front of them that she speaks up, gradually coming to a halt with a huge smile on her face. ]
Holy crap, this is so pretty! C'mon, we've gotta take some pics or a selfie or something before we head back down!
