Stella Roselaid is a teenage girl from a fantasy modern day world, where magic is heavily intertwined with music and color as one all-encompassing concept that's become a societal staple. Every person's voice has its own color, and this determines what sort of magic they're able to use. Surounded by magic and music her whole life, Stella has only ever dreamed of one thing: becoming one of the legendary Prism Maidens, magical idols who use the power of their music to push back the Drone, who seek to turn all music and all colour into a monotonous grey. There's just one problem – only girls with a Perfect Pure Voice, whose magic pefectly represents one of the seven colours of the rainbow, can hope to become a Prism Maiden and despite all her hopes, Stella's colour is pink, not red!

But then one fateful day, her luck completely turns around. A chance encounter ends with Stella being granted a Vertex Stone, a colourful crystal that marks her as one of the seven Prism Maidens! It might seem like all of her dreams are coming true, but Stella soon discovers that magic or not, being an idol isn't all it's cracked up to be and if she really wants to chase her dreams, she's going to have to work hard to prove she's got it in her to reach them.

Stella IS:

• A sixteen year old cis girl, 5'3'' with an athletic sort of build – she's got the toned look of a dancer, or at least a dancer in training. She's got a pretty face with big, round eyes that give her a permanently excited or surprised look and she is incredibly, overwhelmingly pink. Her hair is pretty long, falling to just past the small of her back and it's – you guessed it – pink as well. She invariably dresses in some combination of reds, pinks and whites and her style is pretty energetic, straddling the line between girly and sporty – her favourite outfit is a pink letterman jacket thrown on over a short-sleeved t-shirt and a pleated skirt.
  
• ALWAYS wearing her Vertex Stone – for Stella, it manifests as a star-shaped dangly earring that she wears in her right ear. It always seems to be glowing from inside with its own light, and the cut of the crystal makes it shift prismatically through different colours on its own.
  
• From a modern day setting, so familiar with all the usual modern day setting trappings and trimmings. Her story is very much set in a "sugar bowl" sort of world – think a cheery Saturday morning magical girl anime and you've got the gist.
  
• A magical girl! ... Sort of! Stella is what's known in her home world as a Pure Perfect Colour, which means that she's able to create and control magic with the power of her singing voice. Her singing creates brand new ambient magic and she's pretty used to using it to control said magic, as she's been doing it all her life. If she's in a pinch, humming and whistling can also work, but they're a lot less effective.
  
• An idol! Because of her voice, Stella is a famous idol in a group known as the Prism Maidens. Because of this, she's been trained in dancing and singing and all that other idol stuff. She's pretty good at it, too! Her stage name is "Prism Pink", because of course it is.
  
• Cheerful and pretty much always in high spirits. She's constantly full of beans and enthusiasm about anything that seems like it might be fun or interesting but by that same token, she can often be scatterbrained and easily distracted. She has ADHD, which can further kneecap her focus at times, and generally she comes off as a bit all over the place. She's doing her best, though!
  
• Skilled at/knowledgable about things the average person her age can reasonably be expected to be


Stella IS NOT:

• Genuinely cruel, actively malicious or mean-spirited to the average person
  
• Particularly strong, skilled or overly noteworthy for a girl her age outside of the things mentioned above
  
• Genuinely book dumb or ignorant – she suffers from poor focus and retention of things that don't interest her, though

It's Idoling Time!

[ At a beach resort not far from the city, Kanna and her Tronix idol group are here for a training camp for upcoming concert. Famous and unstoppable, her group blends the current Kpop craze into their music, garnering fans not just in the idol community but in others as well. This made Kanna a little tired if the glitz and glamor of recent weeks, so she made sure to be up before dawn and go get her morning run down.

Diligent with the initiative to be better than the rest, Kanna woke up determined to kick this day in the ass. The morning is chilly; and despite this being a beach resort, she's staying out of the sand right now and sticking to the coastal road where the ground is even and with steep inclines to wake her legs up. Doing her stretches just outside of the hotel grounds they're staying in, Kanna was surprised to see another girl joining her.

The sight was enough to give her pause. It's that one girl from the other group. She's a bit arrogant to remember it, but she definitely recognizes Stella. Or "The Energizer Bunny" in her head. ]
