2019 VALENTINE'S ❤ CALL ME OUT

FOR ALL YOUR CANDY COATED NEEDS

This is primarily for chocolate shenanigans!! So I have a bunch of toplevels below for anyone who wants to slam in here and get their chocolates. This is pretty much mostly for existing CR, but!! As usual in my CMOs, I'm totally happy to roll with assumed CR, AUs, AND WHATEVER ELSE YOU FEEL LIKE THROWING AT ME.

[Well. Presumably, the adventure is over now, if Aster has ready access to a kitchen to make chocolates in. So, Zinnia presumably lives at the castle now, and is handling it... remarkably well. She still has her cursed form, she still can shapeshift, but she doesn't have berserk fits anymore. She still acts somewhat feral from time to time, usually when startled, but now she's getting to wear pretty dresses and just... mingle in with humans. As a human.

It's nice. Anyone might notice that she seems to smile more now. Lets her guard down more frequently. Tries, though with difficulty, to socialize.

But she still has her enhanced senses. Which means a very good sense of smell. So when she smells freshly-made chocolate, and then smells it coming from Aster, she's very curious.]

... What is that?

Zinnia! I must say, you've arrived just in the nick of time.

[ Run, before it's too late, you fool. ]

Might I ask you to spare me a moment of your time? It shan't take long.

Of course. If it is within my ability, I shall help. What is it?

[Yeah, about that...]

[You know who's never done this holiday before? Lutea. You know who heard it was a day about giving chocolates to your various loved ones and immediately began Preparing?]

[Also Lutea.]

[This is, after all, a woman who spent a decent part of a world-saving journey stubbornly learning to cook in between attacks by bandits and gods and bears, just so that she could provide Aster proper meals. She simply refuses to get these wrong.]

[Which is why this morning Lutea is humming melodiously as she walks down the hall to Aster's room, with a little bag in one hand.]

[ It's not a time of the morning that normal human beings would consider early, but Aster is Aster and Aster has only ever been awake before 8AM when the fate of the world literally hung in the balance. So it takes a little bit before she can bring herself to come and open the door.

(And it's kind of amazing that she's bothering to open the door at all, but she knows that there's only a scant handful of people who would dare come to rouse her at this sort of hour and most of them are allowed to get away with this sort of nonsense).

So she's a bit unkempt when she opens the door to Lutea and her expression is just a touch mutinous. ]

My goodness... do I dare ask what's possessed you to rouse me at an hour such as this?

[Lutea holds up the bag proudly for Aster, and smiles sunnily.]

Good morning, my dear. I brought you a gift.

[She appears totally oblivious to Aster's irritation, just looking utterly delighted to offer her this cute little bag of chocolates, and also just to be alive.]

[Damn morning person.]

[Haruka shuffles her feet, looking uncharacteristically embarrassed, and picks at the ribbon of the gift box she slowly hands over.]

Uh... sorry, Honochi...

[Chocolates do not include eggs, so what Honoka gets is a gloopy, blooming swamp-looking thing that's probably edible but doesn't look all that great and likely doesn't taste great either.]
