KALOS FAMILY VACATION TIME LET'S GO

[ One of the benefits of having your own freaking plane (which she may or may not have asked to borrow for just a little longer than she originally planned, regardless of the fact that she doesn't exactly have many places where she can actually keep the darn thing) is that, on a bit of a whim, you can go on impromptu trips across the ocean with your family, and if there's one thing that Anna is totally here for, it's going off to tropical places with the people she loves! The invitations may have been a bit abrupt, but she was pretty relieved to hear that her friends in Lumiose would be up for a quick flight, if they managed to put aside the fact that Anna having a license to fly the thing is still a mystery that no one dares find the real answer to.

To her credit, though, getting to Undella Town, all the way in the Unova region, from Lumiose was pretty smooth (even if finding a place to land it was a bit of a challenge), and the beach town wasn't particularly crowded, either! It was just early enough in the summer, after all, that the rush of vacationers wasn't going to start coming in for a couple of weeks, but you'd never be able to guess that just by the weather! There's not a cloud in the sky above their little hut on the beach, and Anna, who was always far more of a summer person than a winter one, was thrilled to kick off the season with some fun in the sun.

Which might explain why she's got such a spring in her step, tugging on Sonico's hand as she tries to drag her over to the water...even after flying all the way here, it looked like the first thing she wanted to do was throw on her swimsuit and jump in the ocean. Her energy knows no bounds, for sure... ]

Okay, so you have to go on the banana boat with me! And then we can go scuba diving! You have to tell me about all the fish and stuff, you're definitely way better with that sort of thing than I am!

[ Though how she's going to talk to her while they're underwater is a mystery she hasn't managed to solve yet, but if anyone's going to at least try, for better or for worse, it's Anna. ]

[ You know, sometimes Sonico wonders if she should be a responsible adult and maybe ask where and how Anna got a license to fly a plane and how she even knows how to do it in the first place. But if there's one thing she's learned, it's that there's some things you just really do not want to know. She'll leave that sleeping dog where it lays, thank you very much.

She's only just changed into her swimsuit and plopped her hat onto her head when Anna finds her and she ends up running after the girl in bare feet, her sandals dangling from her hand. ]

Oh, um-- A--Anna-chan I don't know if scuba diving is such a good idea-- I'm um, not a very good swimmer...

[ Look, if you never go to flight training school no one can ever prove that you can't fly a plane I mean what-- ]

Come onnnn, don't be such a stick in the sand! How often do you get to go to a beach? An Unova beach?! Aren't you curious about everything?! Don't you wanna see everything?!

[ The poor girl better watch her hat, because Anna's running towards the ocean pretty fast. Y'know, umi da!!!, as one does. ]

Besides, no one's a worse swimmer than me! We don't even have a beach in Arendelle, the whole place is surrounded by docks and rocks, so we have to do everything we can! "World's Biggest Sandcastle" is next on the list, so...

[ Because of course she made a checklist... ]

[ She's having to press a hand to the top of her head to keep her poor hat from fluttering off and away down the beach, her flipflops still bouncing with each step. She'd ask Anna to slow down long enough for her to put them on but she really doesn't think Anna is capable of slowing down for more than five seconds right now. ]

W--well, maybe we should just stick a little closer to the beach? Just in case one of us gets in trouble, o--or...

[ she forces a smile and tries to put a little more pep into her voice. ]

How about a glass-bottom boat trip? I'm sure they'd have one of those around here...!

Oh, that's a great idea! That'd be perfect, so we can see all the fish underneath us! I didn't even know that those were a thing, but that sounds like a lot of fun!

[ It's not too hard to get Anna to change course, apparently; as long as she's having a good time with her family, the rest will sort of fall into place on its own. It looks like that's enough to get her to stop dragging her towards the water, so if nothing else, she'll get a temporary reprieve to put her sandals on... ]

You shouldn't be such a worrywart, though! Everything'll be just perfect, I promise. Besides, even if something happens, which it won't, one of the boys'll do something about it, I'm sure...

[ Though Adachi isn't exactly the person she'd turn to first in an emergency. ...Which is pretty sad, considering he's, y'know, the cop. ]

[ Now they're not rocketing across the sand, Sonico can actually step into her sandals -- she'd been worried about stepping right on a shard of shell or something which she's done more than enough times to start learning. Once they're securely on her feet, she straightens up a bit and gives a weary smile. There's no way she's going to completely discourage this, huh? ]

Well, if we head out on the glass bottom boat first, we could get a look at what it's like under the water. Maybe that'll help us work out how far we'd like to go while we're swimming?
