a cheerful peppy idol A.I. Vocaloid-in-all-but-name who learns empathy and yearns to save humanity after singing so many songs about suffering and pain. she's a good girl who's just trying her best but has a sort of warped understanding of how to actually go about helping people.

[Even if her friend believed everything was going alright, clearly things weren't fine in Mobius. The clearest fact that was μ not allowing any of the humans to leave. Sure, Aria might have agreed that maybe asking the humans to come here was one thing but not allowing them to leave? That was a different one entirely. How could the humans learn to feel better if they were trapped by something they couldn't understand?

That's not to mention the shadows Digiheads showing up because of Aria's dwindling power. Or even the fact that Aria could barely be seen at all. (Which, of course, was quite troublesome in it's own right.)

There wasn't much of a point to try to bring all this up again to μ right now. She wouldn't listen. Aria might need help to get things through that thick digital skull of hers.

For now, though, Aria is just floating besides μ as they inspected a newly created street in Mobius. It wouldn't be long before her friend would be needed for a concert again; the humans needed to constantly hear her to be mollified after all.]

[That fact did bring up something that Aria could bring up that μ might consider talking about.]

Hey, μ. Do you remember the duets we used to sing together? Do you think the humans would like something like that again?

[In her current state, a concert would be out of the question. Still. A virtuadoll is made to sing. Even more than their empathy towards humanity that was something that still was the same between the two of them.]

Another duet?

[ Of course she remembers singing with Aria. Back when they were just drifting through the Metaverse-Es together μ was never happier than when the two of them were singing. Being able to sing is wonderful enough in the first place but it's always more fun and more lively when she's able to do it with Aria. ]

Of course they would! And so would I! It's been forever since we had a duet together, Aria.

[ She's been so busy with everything in Mobius and keeping everyone happy... it's been far, far too long since she and Aria were just able to sing together for the fun of it. ]

Maybe we could even do a brand new PV together! Doesn't that sound fun?

[Maybe it was a bit of selfishness but she missed those days a little. Before her own power over Mobius began to shrink. Aria really couldn't even blame μ even if it would be easier to. They had been together for so long that even if things weren't going well she knew μ wasn't doing it maliciously.]

Just to change things up, yeah! It'd be just like old times. Maybe one of those tongue twister ones. Real upbeat. Malinka, Kalinka! That sort of thing.

A PV, huh... [She pauses for a moment, hesitant. That was different than singing which she was sure she could still do.] Like this?

It sounds like the perfect thing to get everyone excited! I can't wait!

[ She'll have to ask the musicians to see if they can come with something special for Aria. She feels awful asking them to do it when they already work so hard to make music for μ but she's sure they won't mind putting some time aside to make something for Aria.

Her smile dims just a bit when she sees Aria hesitate, though. ]

Well, it's not like there's any other way for you to do it, is there? [ despite her words, her tone is kind as is her smile. ] You'll look great, I know it!
