[ There is a rather ~*mysterious*~ woman who stands by the stairs next to the stage after Aqours performs, giving a rather gentle smile as she also hands Dia an umbrella. ]

You might need one of these. You all did a wonderful performance.

[ Dia's still in Stage Mode when she the woman steps forward and it takes a blink before she remembers that ah, yes, she's not performing anymore. Even if her muscles are still buzzing and her eyes still feel a little sunspotted from all the lights. ]

Oh-- thank you! [ With a quick bow of the head, she takes the umbrella, clutching it carefully in both hands. Had she really forgotten to bring an umbrella? How disorganized of her. ] And thank you for attending. I'm glad we were able to put on an enjoyable performance today.

[ she sounds a little worn out, which shouldn't be a surprise but her eyes are, as should be expected, shining. ]

I'm glad that I was able to come to another concert... it's been a while.

[ She can't help but shrug her shoulders wide — it's not that much of a big deal, in her opinion. ]

[ She gives a little nod to underline it. She's still getting used to... all this again. Following school idols is quite a different ball game from actually being one. ]

If our audience sees how hard we're trying to shine then that's all I'd want out of our concerts.

[ Sup Dia, hope you're enjoying this dreary, rainy day at the train station. Although it might get a bit better at the sudden appearance of a certain lady stopping by. She hurries inside from the downpour and shakes her umbrella off on the rug by the door before she notices that the station isn't completely deserted.

Nozomi gives her a bit of a wave. May as well try smalltalk while she's waiting. This girl could be friendly.]

Hmmm....I guess everyone else got their traveling in before the storm.

[ The weather would have Dia adgitated enough if it wasn't for the fact that on top of being soaked to the skin, she's running late. The heavens opening seem to have set a dampener (literally) on the trains running on time. So all she can do is sit and wait until one pulls into the station.

She's stood stock still in place and she's scowling so hard that she looks like she should be steaming where she stands. Her response isn't short exactly but it definitely betrays her feelings a bit too much. ]

Everyone else had the good sense and the good luck to not get caught in the rain.

[ Drip drip. That's the sound of Dia's everything leaving a huge puddle all over the floor where she stands. ]

[ Never let it be said that Nozomi gave up easily. ]

Oh my. [ She starts rummaging around in her bag. ] I don't have anything bigger than a handkerchief on me, I'm afraid, but if you'd like to dry your face, be my guest.

[ That gets Dia to defrost just a bit. She's irritated, yes, but she can't be quite so frosty to someone politely offering a stranger their handkerchief. She unfolds her arms from across her chest and finally turns to face the other person here -- or rather, the handkerchief being offered. ]

... thank you. I'm sorry to--

[ and then she stops.

... that's a familiar name. A very familiar name and a very familiar accent.

She looks up and finally looks the women in the eyes, trying very very hard to keep control over her expression. It... couldn't be. Could it? ]

[ Nozomi blinks in confusion. ]

...yes? Is something wrong?

[ Is her handkerchief dirty? She just washed it yesterday. ]

[Marion never pays attention to the weather reports, and here it is biting her in the ass. As various other people walk by with umbrellas in hand, the little blonde girl is stranded and miserable in the middle of the downpour with nothing to even try and cover her head with.

As one of the many students walking by, Dia might notice the small girl is wearing a uniform that looks similar to the Uranohoshi school uniform. She can't be any older than eight or nine, though, and the fact that she's clutching a plush rabbit to her chest just makes that more obvious.

She's so focused on protecting the rabbit from the rain, she barely notices the others passing by without so much as offering a little relief from the rain. Help a small child, Dia?]

[ Of course Dia has her umbrella. Who do you think she is, Ruby?

... that's an odd sight, though. This girl definitely looks a bit young for their school but a uniform is a uniform and more to the point, she's soaked. Dia doesn't really realize she's going to stop walking until she actually does and she tilts her head... while angling her umbrella a bit so poor Marion isn't getting quite so soaked. ]

... Excuse me.

Are you alright?

I... I'm f-fine...

[She doesn't sound convincing at all. Like she just doesn't want to admit how miserable she is about being out in the rain like that. The way she shivers and huddles under the protection of the umbrella, not even looking up to make eye contact with Dia, just makes the image that much more pathetic.]

You don't sound fine.

[ she sounds a little strict but she's not particularly annoyed, just puzzled. why would anyone want to hang out dripping in the rain like that? ]

Is there any particular reason you're standing out here in the rain or...?

[She pouts a little at the tone, but she's far too miserable to argue.]

I... forgot to bring an umbrella.

[She sounds mildly irritated about it, too.]

I'll be fine when I get ho-... h-...

[She can't hold back the tiniest sneeze, as she huddles even more under Dia's umbrella. Just what she needed, to look even more pathetic.]

[ ... She sighs. She's not going to let this girl hang out miserable and pathetic in the rain. She was on her way home -- no practicing in this weather, as much as she'd like to try -- but she's sure stopping off at the club room wouldn't hurt. ]

If you'd like to come back inside, I'm sure we could find an umbrella for you to borrow.

[ chika or someone had probably left one behind. she can't say she'd be surprised to see one laying around. ]

You'd be able to dry off before setting out again as well.

[She seems to debate this for a moment. She doesn't want to admit to actually needing anyone's help, but... finding an umbrella she could borrow is better than staying huddled under Dia's like this.]

A-Alright...

[A beat, and she seems to puff up all of a sudden in an attempt to make up for how pathetic and cold and wet she's probably looked up to now.]

I mean, of course I'd like to dry off, if we can find an umbrella! If you know where one might be, I guess you could show me.

[She's still kind of pouting...]

[Late at night, there's a text...]

Dia? I'm sorry to spring this on you, but I'm running a little short-handed at the dive shop. Could I trouble you to help out tomorrow after school?

[ like, five seconds after Kanan texts: ]

Of course, Kanan-san. I'd be happy to assist you. What is it you need my help with? Should we prep a schedule? Will I need to let you know my measurements to make sure I'm able to fit into a temporary wetsuit?

[ OBSESSIVE ATTENTION TO DETAIL SLOWLY BUT STEADILY INTENSIFYING ]

[Dia. Dia, honey, I'm going to need you to chill a little.]

No, no, nothing like that. We just have a shipment coming in and I'm going to need someone to help take inventory while it gets unloaded.

You could wear a wetsuit if you wanted, I suppose. I know we have some in your size.

[ you can't just ask Dia Kurosawa to chill. who the hell do you think she is. ]

So it's my organizational skills you're in need of!

[ those same organizational skills that got the pool eventually cleaned up. you sure it's dia you want on your side, kanan. ]

I'll want to look the part, of course. It's the closest thing you have to a uniform and if I need to assist any customers I'd like them to know they're talking to a professional.

[Sweetie, you are very near Kanan's heart, but chill is 100% something you need more of. As a rule of thumb.

She is sort of counting on the near-obsessive organization, though.] I guess it's like a uniform? I don't usually wear it unless I'm actually going in the water, though...

If we're in the water on shipping/inventory day, that means something's gone a little wrong.
