[ Ai doesn't really know what to expect from the support group. Groups in general, she doesn't really handle very well - she never quite clicks in and she usually ends up hovering on the edges, if she's even permitted to be part of it in the first place. She doesn't know if the enforced proximity and camaraderie will help or hurt in that regard but she's doing her best to be cautious, just in case.
She's aware that, tiny and cute and just starting to show as she is, she's got a pretty good image going as she is, so she leans into it. She picks out an outfit that's pretty but not unapproachable, puts on a smile that does the same, pours out all her sincerely nervous delight and excitement and answers questions about her situation very, very carefully. Yes, they're her first litter. Yes, she couldn't be happier. Yes, they have a wonderful papa waiting back home. Anything more specific, she dodges and redirects so smoothly that nobody seems to even catch that she's doing it.
So, things are going pretty well. Ai can't relax all the way just yet, but she thinks she's made a pretty good first impression... not that the same can be said of all the other girls. Her gaze keeps going to the quiet one who's said pretty much nothing since she first got here and Ai can't quite figure out why. They're not the only rabbits so it's not that... but eventually, the nagging feeling resolves into something she understands.
Recognition. This girl's a bit like her, huh? Maybe not the Ai she is right now, pretty and pampered and loved, but the one who was scuffed in the streets and dragged off to get dressed up like a luxury pet. Chances are good nobody's going to bother doing that for this girl.
So Ai waits until the group's all mingling among themselves, distracted enough by chatter and icebreaking that nobody really pays any attention when she comes sidling up, ears perked in a friendly sort of way and doing her very best to not look like a threat. ]
