[ Sophie doesn't usually spend this much time in one place. She's been travelling alone long enough that she gets antsy if she's not on the road – and with all the people who need help, it's better for them if she can get there sooner. But things have been busy since they arrived in this town and... well, if she's going to be honest with herself, Sophie wants to be here only because she wants to make sure she sees how things have gone for Cattleya, however the result.

She's all in a fluster by the time Cattleya gets back to town and she comes hurrying over, sleeves rolled up, hair tied back and all in disarray – whatever had her looking so busy now forgotten in the urgency of making sure that– ]

Miss Cattleya...! How did it go? You must have succeeded, right?!

[heofon]

Your eyes don't deceive you, Sophie. You're looking at Sir Cattleya now.

[ She put her hand on her hip and pushes her chest out. The horse and the new outfit are not exclusive to the knight class, so Cattleya flaunts a golden badge on her arm, with the symbol of the knightly order proudly emblazoned on it. She blushes as a soft smile etches on her lips, all of her hard work and determination got her this prestige, and letting Sophie know about it felt like the final necessary step to make it all feel complete.

But that bravado is short-lived, as her triumphant pose softens as the pink on her cheeks brighten. The certainty in her eyes turned to a shifty mess, unable to look at Sophie for longer than a second as she utters: ]

W-Well? How do I look?

[ Though she knows Cattleya's worked so hard to achieve this, believes in her with all her heart, there's still a tiny part of Sophie that'd been convinced something would go terribly wrong – and of course, the more she'd had that thought, the more she'd been convinced that having it would somehow jinx Cattleya's chances and if she failed, it would be all Sophie's fault.

So when the relief of knowing that after all that work Cattleya really did succeed washes over her, it's enough to bring a shine of tears to Sophie's eyes. ]

I knew you'd be able to do it, but... I'm so glad... I'm so glad...!

[ She has to wipe her eyes – they're shimmering with tears enough to cloud her vision and she wants to make sure she sees Cattleya in her full splendour. She sniffs and passes her arm over her eyes before giving Cattleya a smile that can only be called radiant. ]

You look wonderful! It's exactly what you deserve after all your work!

[ Sophie's joy at the news is enough to make Cattleya feel tears swell up within her eyes. Seeing her friend's support and faith in her was moving, but she has an image to maintain. Cattleya's always been a little guarded with her emotions. She smiles, gulping her feelings down and chuckles shyly. The sight of a knight on her iron steed is drawing looks of awe from the citizens.

But what's most important here is that she gets to see Sophie's radiant smile. It made the shyness from being seen by the public feel irrelevant. She blushes and glances aside before speaking: ]

Would you like to... go for a ride? On my horse. I... wish to speak with you alone. About something.

[ It's totally fine - to Cattleya - that Sophie's a bit disheveled. Even with her rolled up sleeves and messy hair, she stills looks beautiful. ]
