VOICETEST CMO FOR NYX SIRIUS/MIRACLE WISH

A voicetest/CMO/whatever for Nyx Sirius, the main antagonist (whoops! Spoilers!) of Starwish Miracle. Once a miraculous heroine herself, her waning belief in the power of miracles lead her to assume the role of a calamitous villain in the hopes of awakening heroes strong enough to defeat her. She poses as the sweet and unassuming Nyx Sullivan in Sidereal Bay and watches over the Miracle Warriors as they hone their strength.

Nyx IS:

• A twenty year old cis woman, standing at about 5'6'' with a kind of Gentle Anime Oneesan Sort of build. She has a kind, elegant seeming face with blue eyes and dark purple hair that she typically ties back in a ponytail. When incognito as Nyx Sullivan, she wears a lot of floaty, soft lavender and grey fashions, chunky knit sweaters, mom jeans, that sort of thing, and typically has a paint stained smock on if you catch her at work. As her true self, Nyx is rarely seen outside of her transformed state as Miracle Wish. Imagine something approximately 85% Hatsune Kashiwazaki and 15% Akemi Homura and you've got the right idea.
  
• Gentle, kind and friendly, at least on the surface. As Nyx Sullivan, she presents herself as Just Your Typical Kind, Sweet And A Bit Mysterious Big Sister and very rarely lets people in much further than that.
  
• Ruthlessly cunning and willing to get her hands dirty.
  
• Extremely cautious about letting herself get attached to people
  
• Violently protective of the very few people she is attached to. Yandere Nyx is real and she CAN hurt you.
  
• Absolutely positively going through it, lads!!! She has a terrible inferiority complex combined with some impostor syndrome that, combined with the trauma of seeing her dearest friends die in front of her (even if they came back to life??), has turned her mental and emotional health into total garbage at all times.
  
• Skilled at/knowledgeable about everything the average person can reasonably be expected to be. An accomplished artist and skilled at painting.
  
• Blessed with the powers of 'quintessence' (raw magical energy) and 'miracles'. The latter allows her to completely overturn a situation to her own favor, but only if circumstances are dire enough to class as a 'calamity'.


Nyx IS NOT:

• Genuinely cruel, actively malicious or mean-spirited to the average person
  
• Scatter-brained, naive or uneducated
  
• Actually all that evil, despite all her efforts to convince everyone (including herself) otherwise.
  
• Invincible or unstoppable – her control over miracles makes her a formidable opponent but she can be stopped.

[Juliet Clay, your typical business student, by which we mean artsy kid forced into the faculty of business administration by well-meaning parents with the usual line of "why be happy when you could pursue a lucrative career path." What her parents don't know won't hurt them, though, and so she can often be found in maker spaces and community centres sketching out or constructing accessories to sell.]

[ You know who's in her last year of high school and still lost about what her future is? This gal! What had begun as a work experience credit towards graduation had turned into...well, a kindling for appreciation of art as a whole. Ayla Rosales, secretly known as Miracle Luna, didn't do a lot of the painting, but she ran a lot of the busy work in Nyx's studio, bringing new canvases and paint and helping with the various bookkeeping.

Technically her work experience elective ended a month ago, with the start of the second semester. There's no real reason for Ayla to keep sticking around outside of not breaking the routine she's had for half a year. But there's just...something about Nyx that makes it hard for her to consider leaving.

Maybe it was because the studio, as lovely as it was, felt...lonely.

Or maybe it's because Nyx never talks about friends. ]

[ Yes, Nyx has scolded her about formality. But Nyx is obviously the kind of person you Miss and Ma'am!!! ]

[ You know what every villain needs? Lackeys.

Was it Nyx's raw magical power or her power over miracles that formed Michiru Kiryuu? Or was she created elsewhere, by some other kind of miracle? Or something else entirely, like the darkness of the human heart? Who knows. All that's clear is one day, the girl appeared in the Calamity Kingdom and swore complete allegiance to the Calamity Princess.

She's certainly useful enough - Michiru doesn't let things like emotions usually get in the way of her tasks with gathering energy and creating monsters. But when she returns to the Calamity Kingdom this time, she's walking with a bit of a limp. ]

Princess.

[ She grits her teeth, dropping to her knees, half out of formality and half out of exhaustion. ]

I...appear to have miscalculated. The Miracle Warriors are...formidable.

[ Michiru will be fine. Eventually. But right now, she's still in pain, having bitten off a bit more than she could chew in the name of the Calamity Kingdom. ]

[Gone are the wheels of the train or the whispers of nervous little children, and here stands Simon, glaring at a reflection of himself in the bathroom mirror with a beady, hard-set pair of eyes. His gaze is severe and silent, devoid of any tangible emotion, all of which he unleashed upon the room that he woke up in only an hour prior.

Grace is supposed to be gone, paying for her betrayal in a prison of her own mind, no longer his best friend, confidante, and leader- But void. She is nothing, and yet unbeknownst to him, Simon still defines himself by her original set of rules.

Whereas the Simon of yesterday may have experienced a dreadful bout of panic, this one has gone so far that his first rung of dismay centered around no longer being "King," the true and rightful leader of the Apex, moreso than the promise of dying or the need to eliminate all the others.

His first matter of business is to acquire subordinates. Once he procures the loyalty of a select few, things will work in his favor- Of this delusionall future, he is certain. So he gathers the blond hair that has grown to the center of his back and ties it up in his signature ponytail, then dusting long, messy bangs over his forehead once more. There is something about this old look of his that disgusts him- It's too meek for his current tastes. But people are more likely to trust thee kind of person they don't perceive as a threat.

So he steps outside and into the hallway.]
