[The girls are trying on their outfits for a Christmas PV! Rain looks hers over with a satisfied hum.]

Pastel Santa dresses this year, hmm? I wonder if it's because we've got you now, so they wanted to use a lot of pink and pale colours to mark the occasion. What do you think?

They're so cute! Man, I was wondering what they'd do about the Santa thing, since red's not gonna be a great look on everyone but jeez! They seriously outdid themselves!

[ Stella's in high spirits – in other news, water is wet and birds continue to fly.

She spins around on the spot, arms held out, for Rain to take a look. ]

It's really cute! I have to say, our Christmas outfits are usually cute, but this will at least be more comfortable than all the gold and sequins from last year. Those were so itchy... Don't tell Candy I was complaining, though! [She winks.] She'll start talking about when she was a Prism Maiden and the year in the 80s that they were all dressed as presents and she had to wear a dress covered in Magic Valley Ponies.

[ A long, long pause as Stella considers this. ]

... Okay, but I would wear the Magic Valley Ponies dress. Like, before they'd even showed it to me. I would just agree, because there's no way a Magic Valley Ponies dress could look bad.

[indiglow]

[She giggles a little at that.] It did fit the theme. But I'm really looking forward to our Christmas show, aren't you? I wonder if they'll keep playing it in reruns in future years if enough people like it.

Oh man, just imagine it! I'll be like, a two hundred year old granny and every Christmas I'll get to say to all my grandkids "hey, check it out! That's ol' Gramma Stella before her bones got all crunchy!".

... But do you seriously think they'll rerun it?

Maybe! Though even if they don't, there's still the Blu-ray sales. I doubt they'd skip that!

[ Then suddenly, Stella freezes in place and seizes Rain's arm, like she's just been struck with a thunderous idea. ]

Ohmigod. Rain. Do you know what this means?!

[blink blink] What's wrong, Stella? Or... not wrong?

I'm not gonna have to try and beat the rush for Bluray preorders anymore! Do you know how crazy it was trying to make sure I always got a copy?! But now I'm like, basically guaranteed at least one! It's a Christmas miracle!

[indiglow]

[She laughs, smiles, and fluffs Stella's hair.]

You're right about that! I almost forget how hard it is. It's good that we at least get one of our own merchandise -- although it's still difficult getting in the queue with everybody else for someone else's!

[ Pet pat pot. Her senpais really do spoil her rotten, huh. ]

Good job it's just me I've gotta worry about. When you're a fan of a big group it's kinda like, every girl for herself! Y'know?

That's true, I suppose... [She stifles a laugh.] But you know, it can come back and bite you when you do want something of another girl and you have to line up like everyone else. At least for the popular things, right?

Ugggh, you're right. [ Grooooaaaan. ] It's not fair... why's being a fan gotta be so hard?! You'd think they'd wanna make it easy as possible to get you to spend money, right?

[indiglow]

That's true, but I don't think there's a voice that can create infinite idol merchandise, so they have to do it the old-fashioned way.

[ She slumps against Rain all dramatically. ]

Being an idol fan is even harder than being an idol sometimes...

I don't know whether to say that's an exaggeration or agree wholeheartedly, honestly.

Well, yeah! When you're an idol, you've got management and stuff to help you out. But if you're just a fan then it's every girl for herself!

Tell me you're not asking management to help you skip the lines.

[ Stella splutters in protest. ]

What?! No way! Even if I tried, they wouldn't help me out with that.

I don't really think they would, Stella. Sorry. But look on the bright side; you're already living the idol dream, right? That's more than most people ever get!

Uggghhhh, I guess you're right...

[ She spins a little on the spot, letting the skirt of her dress fan out around her. ]

I'd definitely rather be in the videos than just watching them...

So look on the bright side. You're still getting an amazing life! Even if it's a lot of hard work, too.
