[ Just like she does with everyone, Stella's finally reached the "comfortable pestering her non-stop with texts" stage with Kanna with zero apparent shame. Incomprehensible memes? Dated Vine compilations? The occasional bit of p–probably classified Prism Maiden info as she chatters about her job? It's all there.

She's been oddly quiet today, though. Even when she's busy, she usually finds time to pepper Kanna with texts during the day, but today? Radio silence. ... at least until it's about the time Kanna is usually done with practice and then her phone comes under attack from a barrage of texts. ]

[ Kanna was the first in and the last out of her group's regular dance practice. Pushing her group to take up a tougher dance choreography got them complaining a little, and even felt some hesitation from her other members that aren't completely up for the challenge. That made this day's practice session heavy with the awkward tension between the members, with all of them directed to Kanna herself for being the leader.

She took it in stride, and continued to practice on her own even after everyone left, leaving her alone in the silent dance room with her own music playing from a boombox. Nothing but her breathes and footsteps fill the room, leaving her mind blank or distracted by intrusive thoughts that occasionally pop up - like Stella's silence. She figured Stella's just busy, and she welcomed the break from the distractive fun conversations she has with her fellow idol, but after today, she felt like she could use more of Stella's positivity.

Stopping and calling it a day, she takes her phone and saw Stella's text message right on time after her post-workout shower. Well, now that she's dressed up and clean, she figured that she might as well visit! ]

Hehe... Dork.

[ She whispers and grins widely, blushing at the message and feeling as if Stella was yelling at her through the all caps. ]

ohhhhhh~ the suspense!!!

[ Thinking of surprising Stella as well, Kanna stopped on her way out of the building. Biting her lip, she turns around and goes out of the emergency exit instead. Fuck the rules, she's Kanna Nishikujou.

So as Stella waits outside of the main entrance, Kanna sneaks her way toward Stella, avoiding getting reflected in the glass entranceway of the really modern building. Seeing the familiar pink hair and excited body language of Stella, Kanna smiles and blushes upon seeing her friend. When she got close, she lightly blew on Stella's ear. ]

[ True to her word, Stella's right outside, waiting for Kanna with obvious anticipation. All her bubbly energy seems like it's boiling over to the point that she can't keep still so she's bouncing lightly on her heels as she waits. And because she's so distracted with waiting, she doesn't notice Kanna sneaking up from behind until she feels that puff of air on her ear. ]

Hyaahhh!

[ Stella leaps about a foot into the air and almost lobs her phone skyward. She stumbles back from Kanna, juggling her phone in her hands for a moment until she can get a good grip on it again and spins around to face her, face scarlet. ]

Oh my god, don't scare me like that!

[ Kanna laughs out loud for a moment, putting her hands together apologetically as she simmers down. ]

Alright, alright... I'm sorry.

[ She grins as she puts her hands over her pursed lips, showing some sadistic glee of mischief ]

You look nice, though. My, you gonna take me on a date? Is that the surprise?

[ She winks, chuckling. Stella always looks great, so she's not really suspecting anything and just continued to prod on the other girl and see how long she can make Stella blush ]

[ And of course, Stella's still blushing. Nobody can push her buttons quite like Kanna does, but she's not backing down! She plants her fists firmly on her hips and gives Kanna a big, sunny grin. You'll see! She can do this teasing thing too!

(She really can't). ]

Well! Just how are surprised are you gonna be if I say yeah?

[ Quite surprised from the way her eyes quirk wider for a split second. Her cheeks turned pink along with the subtle leaning back that came with her surprise. But Kanna quickly regains her composure, ebbing and flowing back to her usual confident demeanor. ]

Oh so that's how it is?

[ She mirrors Stella by placing her own hands on her own hips, puffing her chest up in a challenging manner, only taking it a step further quite literally. The soft thud of her shoes in between the other girl's feet felt like a hypnotic snap as Kanna's face zooms in, leaning forward and invading Stella's personal space. ]

Asking me out, of all people? You have guts...

[ She straightens herself back after a moment, seemingly impressed ]

Alright, you got yourself a date. Impress me~

[ She often says those two words that it's become almost like a catchphrase. Truthfully, Stella already managed to impress her. But she got an image to maintain ]

[ Stella knows Kanna well enough at this point to know there's a sweet-hearted dork under that steely gaze, so she doesn't quail away. It's a close thing though, jeez. Kanna could probably be seriously scary if she ever put her mind to it!

Stella just continues grinning at her though, without a care in the world and when Kanna does step back, she starts digging around in her back. ]

Alright then! Just wait til you see what I've got– tah dah!

[ And with a flourish, she whips out two brightly coloured tickets from her bag and presents them to Kanna. ]

That crazy new arcade place that just opened had us do a bunch of promo shots for them and they said we could have some tickets to come along and play a bunch of the games for free!

I sense a DDR challenge in the near future~

[ Kanna puts her hands on her hips, lifting her chin in response like she was indeed being challenged already. She plucks one of the tickets out from Stella's hand, fanning herself with it and gesturing for Stella for them to get going ]

I know this place, come on.

[ She takes the lead, which has been her default. But the fact that she slows her pace enough for Stella to walk alongside her is a big gesture despite it's relative simplicity. ]

This arcade caters to a lot of idol fans. The fact you girls got invited to do shoots with them... I'd have to say congrats.

[ As has become fairly typical now, when Kanna takes the lead, Stella happily falls into step with her, looking for all the world like someone who is just pleased to be here – the way she's preening at being praised nonwithstanding. ]

Eheh, right, right? [ She's practically sparkling with pride. Praise her more!!! ] Like, they could've asked anybody at all, but they asked us! And they want us to keep coming back and be regular customers, so we must've done a really good job!

Try not to let it get to your head. Means now that you have to work even smarter than you did before.

[ She says bluntly in a warning tone. Kanna's speaking from experience, so her words came across a bit cynical. But she has faith in Stella's determination to succeed so Kanna isn't worried for her. The others, she barely knows to really have an opinion. But if Stella trusts them, then they must be good idols too ]

Hmm... Maybe I can pull some strings for you girls next time.

[ She vaguely suggests with a cheeky smile, teasing about what kind of venues she can let the Prism Maidens have the honor of performing at. Kanna's got a lot of pull, so the possibilities are virtually limitless! ]

Oh man, you don't have to tell me twice! We got that whooooole lecture from Celeste after we were done, about how we've gotta keep working hard and proving ourselves and all that stuff. And it's like, she's totally right, but she's said it so many times I feel like I could say it along with her!

[ If only to prove that she does actually listen. On occasion. ]

But anyway... [ Her eyes immediately start sparkling. ] Where are you thinking about setting us up?

That'll be a se-cret~ I'll just let you guess in that little noggin' of yours where it could be!

[ Kanna's eyes immediately sparkled as well, but with a cheeky and mysterious glint as she zooms her face closer to Stella's, putting a finger over her own lips. Truthfully, she doesn't know yet. But she's serious about her idea. Kanna walks on ahead, strutting with playful pride with her head held high and her hands behind her back.

Once they're in the arcade is when Kanna speaks again, standing in front of it with her hands on her hips ]

Ah, it's good to be back. Never thought I'd say that about an arcade.

[ Stella trails after her cheerfully, chattering away the whole way there and generally just gives off the energy of a girl who's just happy to be here, as is usual for whenever she and Kanna hang out – you really get the feeling that if she had a tail, it'd be wagging up a storm right now. ]

God, I'm soooo ready to just go wild and blow off some steam! I've been looking forward to this, like, all day!

[ Which was great for everyone who had to deal with a very distracted Stella, as I'm sure you can imagine. ]
