CLIFFNOTES:

• General backstory is the same as in OnK, main point of divergence is that she didn't have the twins and, you know, The Succubus Of It All. Still an idol, broke up with her ex tho a few years later than in canon. Ended up leaving B-Komachi just after the Dome concert at about 21 y/o and is now a solo idol/talent just kind of floating aimlessly through life.
  
• Cute succubus!! Fangies, pointy ears, the works. She still has her hoshigan i just categorically refuse to add them to every icon. She feeds off of 'love' and 'emotions', so being an idol in of itself technically sustains her but it's the equivalent of living off like, nutrient bars and meal replacement smoothies. She has a sort of lowkey empathy sense running at all times where she can taste a person's feelings. Still doesn't always know what to make of them though.
  
• Didn't get the character development of being Aqua and Ruby's mom so she's still kind of clueless and clumsy and occasionally accidentally cruel to people in her innocent, thoughtless way.
  
• Has a different but still slightly Weird r/s to her sexuality as canon Ai does - doesn't have as much of the internalized shame but is more aware of the hypocrisy & double standards of the expectations of purity & perceived romantic/sexual availability to her fans, and more bitter about it

[In a world where supernatural creatures prowl the darkness, humans have to have protectors. One, in particular, used to be an ally of the monsters, but switched side to protect humans. There was an entire dramatic story there, involving a goddess and a knight and one girl trapped between loyalties, trying to figure out where to cast her lot and how to make the world a better place...

But none of that really mattered to Ai. Ai had spent so long standing in the spotlight of the stage, the shining lights of the day, that she had almost no interaction with the monsters and heroes who lurked in the night. Right?

Yet as Ai returns home one evening, as she passes an alley, a figure seems to melt out of the darkness- A red-haired girl, with fox ears, and brightly shining eyes, reflecting all the light around. The emotions she's feeling are guarded- She's keeping her senses open, like she's ready to get attacked from behind.]

[ Oberon always pays attention to news of a new Servant being summoned to Chaldea. He also does his damndest to stay as far away from it as possible, taking note and watching them from afar before he decides on whether it's worth his time even interacting with them... and even in the rare occasion that he does decide it's worth it, it's generally as the Fairy King.

So imagine how annoyed he is that, shortly after learning of a "succubus" being summoned to Chaldea... she ended up finding him first, and while he was himself too.

And for whatever reason, she is refusing to leave him alone... and believe him, he tried to shake her. Alas, he had no luck escaping her, she just kept finding him... and even being the fairy king didn't help. It just made things worse! The second she saw him as the persona he usually displays to others, she started whining like you wouldn't believe.

He did, of course, go to Ritsuka about this... but all the damn girl did after staring at them for a few seconds was grin and say "oh, what's the harm!" before prancing off. Worst Master ever, actually.

As a result, he has... found himself in a state of begrudging resignment to the current state of affairs for however long it lasts. With any luck she'll eventually get bored of pestering him and move on...

...and yet, as he walked through the empty hallway with her hovering just next to his head, it occurs to him that she is showing no signs of boredom whatsoever. ]

...Oi. Isn't it tiring keeping this shit up?

[ So, that went... better than expected. Honestly, Ai hadn't been sure what to expect of a Servant's stamina on either side of the equation but even she has to admit that a whole night is just a little excessive. A few rounds was to be expected when he'd obviously been holding back so much but when she realized they'd been in her room so long that morning had come and they'd missed breakfast... well, she wasn't complaining in the least but they'd maybe gone just a teeny tiny bit overboard.

It'd been good, though. He'd tasted so sweet. And he'd made so many sweet, overwhelmed faces... so of course she's not leaving him alone. ]

Good morniiiiiing! [ Like she has every day this past week, that's how Ai announces her presence before casually tossing her arms around his neck and plopping her head down onto his shoulder. ... She's floating, of course, because she can't manage this any other way. ] Jeez, I slept right through my alarm today... it's hard to get up when there's nothing to do.
