[ There's no school in session on Sunday the 14th, so on Valentine's eve, just after classes let out for the day at Estrella Academy, Erina Estival might (should) happen to come across a surprise in her shoe locker. It's a bit hard to miss, the sort of thing intended to pop right in her face the second she busts it open. The hinge of the door gives, and instead of her shoes, Erina's greeted with a bright burst of red.
Specifically, wedged in front of her shoes rests a heart-shaped cookie tin, stuffed to the brim with individually-wrapped goodies, in all sorts of flavors. Chocolate chip, white chocolate with nuts, frosted sugar cookies shaped like hearts, covered in hundreds-and-thousands...there's definitely no shortage of variety, here. And while they might not be home-made, all things considered, that's probably for the best, considering anything Chitoge tries to bake herself turns out to be a disaster.
...Not that she's outted herself as the culprit behind this whole thing, mind you. There may be a small envelope held in place to the inside of the lid with tape, with Erina's full name on the front of it...but there's no hint of a sender, one way or the other, even on the note itself.
Thinking of you. That's all she could bring herself to write on a piece of soft pink stationery, with no trace of a name or even an initial to give herself away. Seems this secret admirer is more than content with staying secret, for now.
Still, even with just those three words, it's plain to see that the handwriting is unmistakably...girly? Maybe even kind of familiar, if Erina's perceptive enough to catch that?
"she doesn't even go here!"
