CMO POST
(it stands for 'contact my OCs')
- Alalia Ridgely, a knight from the same country as Caelina, though her story takes place centuries later than the former's. Having trained from a young age, Alalia was knighted at age twenty-three and is still a relative newbie when she awakens to a powerful but taxing magical ability that allows her to manipulate animating energy through song. From this, she stumbles into a centuries old conspiracy that results in her going on the run to avoid a wrongful arrest. While she puts on the front of a professional with a stiff upper lip, she's firey and brash with a snappy temper and a fierce sense of justice.
- Aster Azuline Anbell, princess and third child to the royal family of Anbell. She comes from a world currently nearing the end of its current lifespan that is awaiting the one known as the Scion and their companions, whose duty it is to bring life back to the world. And as it turns out, the newest Scion is Aster, who promptly disregards everything her kingdom expects from her and sets out on the journey with her companions, determined to save the world on her own terms. Sharp-tongued and a bit stuck up from 20 years of living to the standards of royalty, her outer layer of grouch and prickliness hides a core of warm snuggly tsundere goodness.
- Bryn Pendragon is a traveling warrior with as many braincells as she has functioning eyes (which is to say, one). She was raised by a dragon as part of his horde until a prince whose name and face she's yet to find out went and slayed him. After taking on the powers of her Dead Dragon Dad, Bryn has set out on a Revenge Road Trip across the continent of Seidrfold, a Fantasy Kitchen Sink setting full of all sorts of neat European mythological nonsense. Despite how edgy that description makes her sound, she's actually a cheerful, high-energy sheltered weirdo who cannot be trusted with her own braincell and is having SO MUCH FUN out here on her wild adventure.
- Caelina Gwynlaw, an adventurer and healer from the country of Adryae, a faux-European country in a Ye Olde Fantasy Setting. She's studious and a bit of a bookwork with little self esteem, but when properly motivated she's a force to be reckoned with. She's a scholar educating herself in magic and history but currently taking a break from her studies to travel the country in hopes of healing a plague known as the Withering. She possesses the ability to manipulate and control animating energy (quintessence) that she channels through song and manifests as her healing abilities. She's kind and quiet, preferring to hang back and avoid social interaction if she can, but her soft and squishy exterior hides a core of pure steel.
- Camellia, a ~spooky ghost~ from a faux-Victorian England setting. In life, she was the prim and proper daughter of the Evandale family. She met her end at the ends of a childhood friend turned spurned suitor and manifested as a ghost sometime later, with only a few fleeting memories of her life. She possesses the engagement ring that was buried with her body and is very!! lonely!! PLEASE GIVE HER SOME COMPANY
- Clairty Skylark is a genius detective stymied somewhat by the fact that she only really has one braincell to speak of. Somehow, despite all the odds working completely against her, she manages to be extremely good at her job when the chips are actually down. Her energy and good-natured desire to meddle in everything can get her most of the way, but her wacked priorities and her love of a good hearty adventure often trip her up, even when she has the best of intentions in mind. Eliminate everything else and what's left will surely be the truth! ... or a gold-plated reasonable facsimile of the truth, anyway.
- Erina Estival, your typical Light Novel Superpowered Teenager. She is a type of human known as a 'Synchronic', which grants her special abilities, chief of which is the power to bond ('Sync') with a sentient weapon known as a Key. Erina's key is a zweihander called, uh, Zwei. Her special ability is to hear the thoughts and voices of Keys she herself is not Synced with. Sort of sassy and snarky and comes across like she's trying a bit too hard to be a standoffish edgelord. She's actually very energetic and passionate under the surface. Gay for two things: haunted swords and women.
- Kyouko Kougami, was your typical, cheerful second year highschooler until she stumbled across the magical world slightly to the left of our own called the Imaginaerium. Upon finding her way there, Kyouko became a magical girl known as a Reflector, tasked with the duty of keeping the Imaginaerium safe from threats. She fights under the name of Reflector Heart. With her powers and her teammates, she resolves the emotional conflicts of those whose emotions resonate inside the Imaginaerium. A shouty shounen protagonist who happens to reside in the body of a bright pink magical girl lead character.
- Sophie Summerhelm, ex-sickly anime waif, certified Good Girl. She's the student of one of the original six heroes, Amelie the Legendary Alchemist. In Hexapath Travellers, she journeys Adelheld on a self-imposed quest to prove herself and her mastery of alchemy. After getting mixed up with the party, they overthrow a conspiracy, summon a god, right wrongs and triumph over evil, all that good stuff. In Hexapath Future she has now replaced the disgraced Amelie as the Royal Alchemist but instead of sticking to one place, she continues to travel Adelheld as she feels continuing to spread happiness with her alchemy is her true calling.

Lulu thinks of this—the memory is precious because it is there, and so few are—while she's sat in the grassy park at the center of town. Val has made the grievous error of leaving her unattended (she'll learn, in due time) with only a promise of not straying too far keeping her in line while Val finds someone to perform repairs for her; business utterly failing to keep Lulu's attention, and so perhaps letting her loose upon the town was the lesser of two evils.
At least something benign takes her attention: one single crow all by itself, hopping back and forth in the grass, as though looking for something. While Lulu would have to stand up to try touching it (be nice to them; she wouldn't dare), it isn't too far away from her, either.]
Hello, friend! [Instead of a usual shout, her voice is a soft, reverent call that catches the crow's attention without scaring it off. It looks at her once, and caws.
After a moment's consideration, Lulu remembers the snack in her hand: soft bread, some of the last of her provisions from when she first set out away from home. It hasn't turned yet; Lulu has a knack for keeping food fresh. Without another thought, Lulu tears off a chunk of bread, and rolls it across the grass. The crow takes three big hops towards her—just out of fingertips' length, were she audacious enough to reach—leans over, pecks the bread, and eats it in a few eager bites. The crow looks at her, caws once, and promptly flies off.
Grinning, Lulu waves up at the sky, and calls after it:]
Farewell and safe journey!
[She assumes (and is about to be delighted to be proven wrong) that this is the last she'll see of it.]
